FAQ
-
Q. I don't get it. What are Fade's powers?
A. You'll find out explicitly soon enough.
-
Q. The "teaser" issue didn't tell me anything!
A. That's why it's called a teaser.
-
Q. How often do you publish?
A. As often as time permits. As the sole writer/penciler/inker/colorist, it takes some time to produce an issue. I may opt to release each page as soon as it's finished.

Q. How do you write/draw/ink/color?
A. I've been writing the stories for years. Since well before the web was popular. Many of Fade's episodes are adapted from short stories, movie ideas, and novel ideas. I draw, ink, and color much the same way as most comic book/strip artists these days. I pencil with either a 4H pencil or a "Non-photo" blue pencil. Then, I ink with a #0 brush and ink for many of the lines. Some of the lines, where I require a straight edge for example, I ink using pigment liners. Coloring is done using Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.

Q. What program do you use to author your webpages?
A. It's called vim. It's a text editor that is included with most UNIX and Linux distributions, including Mac OS X. I'm not much of a fan of WYSIWYG editors like Dreamweaver. I like the flexibility of writing the XHTML, PHP, and CSS by hand. If you're looking for inspiration, try A List Apart or CSS Zen Garden.
