I have a project I made a commitment to finish some time ago that hasn't happened yet because of job changes, etc. The biggest problem is that I have three major talks to give in the coming weeks. I'm really stressed out about it, and I can't have this on my mind, too. The future looks bright. If I can clear that commitment off my plate at last, then I can promise more frequent updates. It's the main holdup to be honest. Even when I'm not working on it, I'm feeling guilty and therefore not interested in drawing. Anyway. Hope that if I have any readers left at all, they'll come back when I come back. Subscribe to the RSS, and I'll let you know when I'm back. I'm shooting for mid-December. There may be a page update in there, though, as there is one in the queue. I actually beat my CoH addiction a while ago, but I've really been dreading this page for a while. The reason? I have this vision of what the movie version should look like, but it's difficult to translate that to page. You'll see what I mean on the next update. The pencils are done finally, after many, many thumbnails and restarts. And simply time staring at the blank page, waiting for the scene to tell me how to draw itself. The pencils are here if you'd like a sneak peak while I color it. It really was a huge roadblock, which is a shame, because I'm really fond of what the page is trying to show, just didn't know how to show it without a few pages of tiny panels. http://www.fadecomic.com Announcement Sat, 20 Sep 2008 09:35:27 -0400 Sorry for the delay. Right when the story heats up, too, right? I know. I was on vacation for a while, and during that time I decided to try the free trial of City of Heroes. Well that and I'm remodeling my kitchen. The combination of the two has been detrimental to Fade. Anyway, if you're into City of Heroes at all, I'm on Virtue, and I've got a number of alts. The main is a magic scrapper based on Fade named Fayud, which is the closest to a phonetic spelling of Fade I could get on that server. I also have a blaster named The Rab-bot, a tanker named Highway LL (it's a rebus), and a controller named Kepler's Ellipse.
